Tumblr is real life, with real people and their real characters. Every follower is my real friend, people who don’t give a damn about how I look and how I dress. People who are only interested in who I truly am. Every “follow” means “Hey you seem like an interesting person, I’d like to be friends with you and see if we have something in common”. Every “reblog” says “Hey I like this thing too/I feel exactly the same way!”. Every “unfollow” can scream “I don’t really enjoy the things you like” without having to get caught in an awkward conversation. Tumblr is real life, with less drama.
